Sway bar question

I'm considering picking up an m3 sway bar for the front of my 325ci. What I'm wondering is, will this be a bolt on application, or will I also need to get m3 struts

Why put yourself through the grief of figuring out how to put parts on your car that was not intended for it. The front control arms on the non M cars are shorter, because the M3 had a wider track and perhaps some geometry changes, and hence the bar accommodates this. To save yourself the headache, buy a 26 mm front bar (with a corresponding rear bar for handling balanace) from Ground Control or another reputable company and be done with it. Last thing, if you can, buy an adjustable bar. This give you choices in how you want to set the car up, and the reason why I bring this up is that on my E46M, I had Bilstein PSS9 coils and then later, I got some CSL front and rear bars for a steal; I had to play with the the damper settings until the bar/damping combo finally felt right.
