Yep. I received the 30pin-lightning adapter yesterday and am happy to report that it worked perfectly fine with my Pioneer Avic head unit. Plugged in the adapter, plugged in the iphone, and BOOM worked perfectly fine. I will test it in the Sony unit in the BMW this weekend :woot:

How much?

I plugged my iphone 5 right into my car and had just as much functionality as the 4 did. Music, control, phone, etc. USB port FTW.

I ordered mine on Apple's website for 30 bucks.

:( what a rip off. I'm waiting for them to show up on eBay for $6 haha. It drives me nuts that the lighting connector is still USB 2.0 and is no faster than the 30 pin.

Restored her inside and out (fully overhauled the air suspension, put on Rover Sport Supercharger "Stormer" wheels, repainted exterior parts, added euro indicators, HIDs, etc). She's old but she's a tank :)

Awesome, I have a Pioneer Avic as well, although mine is a little older. I have the Avic D3, I hope it works.
