Will this work? E46xiT w/ Style 138's and 225/45 r17s
Just like the title states. It's a 2001 e46xi T. I have Nokonian Hakkapeliittas for the winter, but I need new wheels, and I'm just curious if these:
http://burlington.craigslist.org/pts/3359371675.html will fit, etc. Thanks in advance! |
Well, coming from someone with style 138's on their E46, they will, IF they are offset +43. These style 138 wheels came in two offsets, +43 and +20. The +20 came from a RWD 5 series, the +43 came from an AWD 5 series. Now, I am pretty certain that all non-m's share the same offset regardless of RWD or AWD.
The link you provided doesn't work, but if the wheels are offset +43 they will, if +20 they wont. It is also easy to tell which offset is which, as the +20 looks very aggressive with the 5 spokes going very 'deep' into the wheels. Hope this helps. |

They say "X 15" on them. What does that mean? Thanks for the info, by the way. |

Looks awesome. Can't wait to put mine on in the spring and see what they look like on a coupe. Seen them on a sedan and touring now!
