Mostly clear tails for the E46 coupe?

My bad if this has been asked before! I'm new! lol

http://www.topgearautosport.com/part...il_Lights.html

I dig these tails but I can't seem to find them for the coupe. Anyone know where I can find something similar?

stevenluczynski 11-05-2012 06:23 AM

Just a heads up, those look terrible and would ruin the look of the car

Curtis Day 11-05-2012 06:24 AM

noted, however I don't like the mostly red stock ones so I'll be switching them out.

jerseyzillest 11-05-2012 06:37 AM

Not worth 300 bucks, just a waste of money. Plus it's something Mexicans would do. :/ just heads up you wouldn't look "cool"

stevenluczynski 11-05-2012 06:37 AM

Well then I wouldn't be expecting any help from the forum

THECLEANERBEAMER 11-05-2012 09:29 AM

There is a reason for that.

Less is more these days. If you do own an m3, keep it stock. If you absolutly have to have some new tailights, do an OEM LED retrofit or buy some of these.

Mflara20 11-05-2012 09:41 AM

I'm Mexican and I wouldn't put those things on my car. Get the eagle eyes.

sweetbro858 11-05-2012 10:07 AM

check the sponsors. I think I bought my LEDs from Modbargains or Khoalty a few years ago.

trj 11-05-2012 12:36 PM

OP, dont buy those tails. It will look really hideous in our cars. Keep it subtle with clear/RED or LEDs. Eagle Eye LEDs if not the OEMs.

I refuse to help you in this endeavor, and I care enough to post that I'm not going to help you.

If you put that taillights on to your car I will buy a ticket to the US track you down and light your car on fire. WTF

Curtis Day 11-15-2012 10:45 AM

I live in Canada so going to the US will be pointless lol.

I see that the many of the tail lights have various years listed for fitment. i see some that says 99-02 and some 99-03 etc. when exactly did the minor changes take place in the tail light fitment?

Aswad 330i 11-15-2012 10:54 AM

It happened when the e46's got the new face lift design. 98/99-01/02 is "preface lift".. 2002 and up is "facelift". Easiest way to spot this is the look of the headlights

Aswad 330i 11-15-2012 10:57 AM

JUST TO BE CLEAR, since it seems you have a coupe I'm not sure if this applies to you but with whatever taillight you go with(and for the sake of the e46 gods don't go with your initial choice) make sure the taillights you purchase say COUPE.
