LED Tails- Sedan

So just how bad do LED tails look on a sedan? I want to do my lighting soon and my inner tails are a bit faded. Figure I may as well do LED's, I love the look on the coupe's.

I'm not ENTIRELY sold on them from google imaging sedans and a few members here have pointed out they're kind of wanky.

On the coupe's though, they look quite subtle until they're in use.

Are there any HIGH QUALITY sedan LED's that don't look stupid, and what's the general consensus here? Are they a bit ricey?

I think some look worse then others.

^ those are the best ones I have seen

I'm on the fence between keeping the Sedan RWR or going with the more coupe EE look.

The one thing that bugs me about em is the missing LED. Other than that, they look fine. I have heard some people say the LEDs tend to burn out kinda randomly.

I'm in the market for some also. I've heard a lot of problems from LED tails. Would it be a safer route to go halogen vs LED?

I don't want to go off topic in this thread but check my sig for "countermeasures"

It all depends. Halogen works fine but you have to make sure the bulb panel is in good order. For LED my first set only last a few months, but the second one that I have no is flawless for almost four years.

Where would you recommend me to buy tails? Khoalty? And for LED,I keep hearing resistors. Do I need those?

Solidjake 11-07-2012 10:50 AM

LED tail lights do come with resistors. Buy the Eagle Eye tail lights from www.khoatly.com

here is the DIY

We offer to price match anyone on LED tails, if you have other items you want to purchase at the same time, you won't be disappointed. We match or beat anyone's price.

We have the best price, and ship free in the US! If you need anything feel free to email sales@khoalty.com or hit us up on our live chat

I don't like the coupe red/white patterned lights on the sedan. The goal is to be as OEM as possible.

Are Khoalty's THAT much better than Umnitza's?

E46Cherry 11-07-2012 10:25 PM

aren't they the same product? both manufactured by Eagle Eyes
