Wtb:e46 m3 18' oem wheels
I am after a rear set of the M3 18' OEM wheels M Double spoke 67
Tyres and condition do not matter rear: 9JX18 ET:26 Thanks |
Found a full set on gumtree in great condition. Paid $1,000 but dont mind as they had near new Continetal ContiSport 3 tyres with 95% tread
Thanks |
I have a set of rears.
|
I assume the 18s are for track days Hazey?
|
Hazey, get Loren's set of rears and run a squared set up for track.
|
Yes they are for track days. Don't want to trash my PSS's on the CSL's. Given I paid the extra amount for these 18's with new set of CS3's, I most likley wont go down the square route untill i wear these tyres out.
The only concern I have with with a square setup with the 18x9 et27 on the front is the camber settings required to get them fitting with 265/35/18. From all the threads Ive read on the square setups they look to be running pretty aggressive camber and settings you dont really want to be running on the street. I'm looking for a good camber setting for street/track that wont eat the insides of my PSS prematurely EDIT: I will have eibach pro-kit springs too |
If you're keen on tracking the car, are you going to go coilovers? Or keep the springs? If you're going to stay OEM there is actually a camber mod you can do that will give you more neg camber without running camber plates. Else get coilovers and camber plates. The ones that wilay is selling (PSS10 with vorshlag) is a pretty good setup. I have the same camber plates, no issues with them.
|
Ive heard of that mod, do you know if it works with eibach springs. I saw the PSS10 for sale too..tempting
If I can get enough camber on just eibach springs so as not to scrub the outer shoulders of my tyres from hard cornering but at the same time be ok for street then i will be happy. |
Hazey where have I seen your car? you on the beaches?
|
Nope not on the beaches. Dont drive it much, only weekends
|
ah fair enough, there must be someone else rocking a similar plate setup!
