Yellow oil light
Was wondering if anyone out there could help me out please??

On start up (warm or cold) the oil light comes on red then goes out as normal, but then after about 30secs it comes on yellow??!! It stays on for about a minute then goes out??!!

I have checked the oil level and all seems fine when I'm driving!!

Replace your oil level sensor, the ONLY brand for that is HELLA.

Part number is 12617508003, should cost around $90 USD.

I wonder if my sensor is going bad, too -- my oil light comes on one out of every five times I turn off my car. I've checked the levels and they're always within the normal levels.. HELLA is the brand to get?

Yes Hella.

Cheers for that, Will try that and let you know.

+1 on oil level sensor.

Do it when you change your oil. 3 bolts on the oil pan and the plug. It'll take you <5 min on your next oil change.

Hm.. think I'll do this on my next oil change. Thanks!
