I am getting ready to buy the ST coilovers on my e46 coupe. Before I buy them I wanna make sure they are good and that they wont mess up my car. Somebody said that ST and KW are the same basically but ST runs a little cheaper so please give me the lowdown on them.

Do a search, it's been discussed quite a lot, but yes, they're basically the same... KW V1's and ST V1's are the same, but ST's are galvanized steel instead of inox stainless, and come with a 5 year warranty instead of a lifetime warranty. Other than that, it's the same valving, same springs, same everything, just another color, re-branded to ST.
