Tail Light questions.

hey guys, I've searched a bit, but couldn't find clearly what i was looking for, only that coupe and sedan tail lights don't interchange. [I already Know that] But my question is, do preface and facelift tail lights interchange? like I have been looking into some clear LED's, and one was perfect, new, in my prce range but had the years 2002-2004 on it, and I also saw some, that had 1999 2000 and 2001 on them. Kinda confused, thanks guys!

They do not interchange without wiring mod or adapter. One is 6 pin connector and other is 7pin connector. But add in the expense of the adapter. Your call. Wouldn't do it personally.

Coupe to sedan and vice-versa no.

Pre-face to facelift the wire harness is different.

Only the ones on the trunk for the coupe, because the carrier is the same. That's what I did on my m3 but on the big part aren't, unless you get the right wiring.
