What do you bench?

What do you guys bench? Doesn't have to be a 1 rep max or anything, just something that gives an overall idea of your bench.

About 160.
I'm a sissy

Tim13E46 11-20-2012 04:04 PM

I've put up 285 (almost twice my weight) 1RM once, with a little room to spare. Haven't benched much lately, so I'd imagine its dropped a little.

B_Cyrus 11-20-2012 04:25 PM

idk, I can do 225 about 19 times, 345 once. I don't dwell on bench much as a lift though.

DylloS 11-20-2012 05:01 PM

Max is probably around 210 right now

Tom5933 11-20-2012 05:32 PM

My bench workout from today

135x8 185x5 225x5 255x5 275x5 305x5 225x15 225x8

Philsmith330 11-20-2012 05:41 PM

264 x 4 reps

Philsmith330 11-20-2012 05:42 PM

Actually with bar weight 308 no bad for a 14.5 stone guy

M3Inline6 11-20-2012 06:02 PM

I can push 345 for 1 rep (..maybe a bit more now). The weight used for my work/rep sets range between 225 - 315 lbs. I weigh 186!

Green_Shine 11-20-2012 06:34 PM

I rep 225 for my workouts.. 3 something was my max a few years ago. Don't really care about bench too much.

kushy 11-20-2012 07:13 PM

bout 200, been slacking

flashmeow 11-20-2012 07:22 PM

10lbs on each side on a bad day and 15lbs on each side on a good day.

As 160s my body weight, I'm pretty happy (especially given I never lifted up until a year ago).

Haters commence.

You probably shouldn't have even started this. It's like you want to argue. Chase, those numbers are not impressive and the guys in here doing 250+ probably only weigh 50lbs max more than you.
