I work as a technician for a performance shop called elite autos in laurel and maintain this car regularly. If you want you can come here to the shop and ill have it lifted up in the air so u and/or a mechanic you trust can do a 29 point inspection on it. The problem I'm trying to get over is that if I purchase this car, I would have to tow it because it has not been inspected since 2008. Big red flag for the troopers that sit in my neighborhood/state.

Wouldnt you have to tow it anyways bc u wouldnt have tags on it?

True, but the cop is more likely to stop me when the inspection sticker is 5yrs old. I know they pulled me over when I had just gotten mine inspected and had a rejection sticker. Maybe you could have it inspected? I'm sure it shouldn't be any problem. Sorry not thread jacking, cause I am looming for a car. I have several mechanics in your area that I use, just trying to save money to not have it towed. And my luck with cops isn't a pleasant one.

Are you talking about the VA sticker on the windshield? Bc thats been there before i even bought the car and i just never really bothered to take it off. if you decide to buy the car after coming to my location to look at it and get it inspected here then i can drive to your house or wherever and drop it off and take my tags home. its really not that big of a deal.

I read your post again and want to add that i understand that you would like me to inspect the vehicle before you buy it? If i had it inspected before i sold it it would be pointless for me to pay $120 to get it inspected then sell you the car, where youll have to re-inspect it in your home state,va. Buyers are usually responsible for state inspections, not the sellers. You can come to my shop while im working with your mechanic because i work full time and hard for me to get time off. Ill lift the car in the air because our shop is very reliable with how we raise lowered/slammed cars properly without damaging the vehicle (sideskirts,etc).
