E46 17 pin ERISIN DVD Player (323i) Volume Control Can BUS
 

Hello everyone,

I have a 1999 323i and have installed a dvd player

I know its not the best brand and quality but got it for 270$ shipped to my door. I installed everything but have one little problem. The unit comes with a volume control by pass can-bus for steering wheel. It has one pink wire from it and I'm guessing it has to be connected to one of the main 17 pin audio harness. I'm not sure wich wire to split or connect to so my volume control can work.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Never heard of this unit... surprised no one on here has talked about it. Wifi + 3G? Hmm. But by CAN bus I assume they mean I-bus wire as that is what the steering wheel controls are connected to. It is in the wiring harness, I forget which pin/color but search and you will find it.

pink wire is reversing camera sense wire
