I'm excited I just rolled 150,000 miles this morning and my xi still drives like new. I'm hoping to get 250,000 miles out of it .

redbull 325is 11-28-2012 06:22 PM

sweet, mine is about 250 miles short of 150k :)

Gus330vrum 11-28-2012 07:50 PM

What have you done to your car so far at 150k . (:

I'm at 147. Expect 300k out of it lol

Cooling system , lower control arm on left side ,control arm bushing , brakes rotors , spark plugs , thermostat, battery, k&n air filter 5,000 mile oil changes and I'm sure a bunch I've forgot.

192k here, runs like new still.

TArse 11-28-2012 10:02 PM

I just hit 150k a couple days ago.
I have had dinan throttle body and long tube since 0miles. At 120k I had headers installed and a custom tune on my 330xi.

All matenince that is needed is done.

rcsummers 11-28-2012 11:30 PM

Congrats. Keep up the maintenance for another 100k.

Side note, i hit 46k on the M yesterday and almost had a heart attack.

omhl 11-29-2012 02:37 AM

112k m3 here :D

bimcwe 11-29-2012 08:38 AM

Congrats. Gives me hope that mine'll still be running nicely by then. lol

216k miles. Just did the starter (original), fuel pump (original, still going strong, but I was getting paranoid), and fuel filter. I want mine to make it to 400k+ and am maintaining it to do so. :)

Runs perfectly, gets 28MPG freeway, 22-23 around town on 18" M3 wheels. :)

Bought 'er off of here with 196k miles. Previous owner did the sunroof, oil filter housing gasket, replacement rear springs, wheel bearings (2) and brakes.

I did Bilstein HDs, a strut tower bar, H&R RSB, fixed a transfer case leak, CCV with hoses, rebuilt Vanos (installed by Dr. Vanos himself in Round Rock, TX) with new VCG and new valve cover, rear subframe bushing, M3 wheels repaired/redone in gunmetal, new headlight covers/bulbs with LEDs all around (with resistors), and 2 window regulators. And a Dynavin. And some professional leather restoration. And a UUC short throw. And Clutch Delay Valve Delete. And transfer case/diff oil all replaced with appropriate RedLine Fluids.

I can't say the car's been fine without maintenance or without upgrades, but I'm down to just replacing the front axles (next month) and she should be good to go for a long time to come. Take care of the car, and it'll last a good long while. I've got a local indy who does great work for reasonable prices who's stated after looking at the top end of the motor and driving it around, that it performs and mechanically is on-par with a car with 80k on it!

Congrats! Keep her properly maintained and she'll go another 150 with no problems!

I put one of your aluminum pulleys on a Stewart water pump when I did my cooling system overhaul at 206k miles.

Overkill, maybe... ;) But it's all working well.

ECSTuning 11-29-2012 04:14 PM

Nice! Overkill is always a good thing when it comes to the cooling system!

Riverbmr3 11-29-2012 04:52 PM

got 115k miles driving her for 10 yrs..feels like new:woot:

biggy8481 11-30-2012 08:18 PM

build date 03/04, currently at 222,436 miles. Runs great, a few hiccups, but nothing too crazy. Love her so much, she's getting new legs and her style 193's refinished next week hopefully (tired of silver). Been good to me, except the time she demanded that I put in a new alternator in a parking lot while it was 20 degrees outside...

Rickna 12-02-2012 06:37 PM

Good for you! I just hit 100K-hoping for another 100k!

KrasivataSabine 12-02-2012 09:43 PM

128k... getting older

SilvaBimma 12-07-2012 06:08 PM

120k. Still love it. Bad mileage though. Always vigilant about repairs.
