Honda to BMW over here too!
 

Always been into Hondas ever since I started driving. I've built 3 hondas, two civics with engine swaps that are gone and a Del Sol with intetions to swap a integra gsr motor into it. I started to get tired of the honda game so I started lurking craigslist to find decent trade. Found guy a that lived close by that wanted a honda. I ended up trading the Del Sol and $500 for a 2001 BMW 325i. Best deal of my life! I got the car semi stock.

So far this is what I've done:
18" Borbet XL rims with Bridgestone Potenza
Tein H-tech Springs
M3 Trunk Spoiler
Smoked LED Tail Lights
Smoked Turn signals and Side markers
Rear muffler Delete
Cone Air Filter

I get bored easily and I'm already entertaining the idea of selling the car for a Honda S2000 or getting a brand new car. What do you guys think? If I keep it, I plan on building or swaping the motor and getting a new set of rims. Help me decide!

Too many people swapped in to m3 motors my dads minivan even has an m3 motor with shark ecu controller

OP, your style will change the more you get into German cars. Look around to what some fanatics have done with their cars. You'll adapt certain styles that you like.

And when he says German cars, he's not talking about vw.

OP, nice ride and welcome to the world of BMWs. I hope you're aware of the greater maintenance your E46 will require over your previous Hondas. There's lots of parts to replace if you want it to ride like new (or closer to it). There's nothing that drives better than a well cared for 3 series. Save some money for maintenance and continue mods after you've "refreshed" your car. E46s really need it.

Not all Honda drivers are ricers...

Granted, many are, but I am not.

Maybe I was a BMW driver all along, just didn't have a BMW until now ;)

Get an S2000, you have a 4-door economy car for mommies that need a backseat for baby seats.

Even to make it look cool, you'll spend so much you could of bought an M3.


Just get the S2000 and don't look back.

The S2K will be a trillion times more fun to drive than a messily 325i. The only BMW in that price range that will give you similar levels of grins behind the wheel is the M3 but they're quite different cars and the E46 is more expensive.

I'd grab the S2K in a heartbeat were I in your shoes.
