help!!!! transmission problems

I have a 2001 325I and I was driving the one day and I couldn't down shift I changed my slave cylinder bled everything but still nothing the car will now change gears but won't move and if you don't use the clutch there is a slightgrinding which makes sense but why doesn't the car move it gave me no indication the clutch was going bad so I'm not sure if that's my problem could the clutches have just broke I'm pretty sure its original I'm 3rd owner and it has almost 170000 on it. Please help

Are you expecting us to read this SINGLE sentence without a punctuation?
OP, I am really sorry to say this, but you're a goddamn selfish lazy idiot. Wear this first.

You're kinda a dick if instead of answering his question, all you can do is correct his grammar. I'm guessing you get off on this and hyperventilated as you read his post imagining inserting commas, periods and apostrophes to fix his illiteracy.

what do you mean by the car not being able to move? and you shift without using the clutch?

Please elaborate and if you can, try this:
Turn on the car, put it in neutral and depress clutch pedal (clutch disengaged), and hold for 5-10 seconds. In this time, you've released the clutch from the flywheel by using a throwout bearing to pull the pressure plate! Anyways, toggle through the gears, keeping pedal depressed entire time, if it's hard to get into gear, it could be shifter linkage (might be old) or it could be your throwout bearing, not releasing clutch so the input shaft keeps spinning and therefore hard to get into gear.
Put it in 3rd at a dead stop, engine on, chock the wheels, emergency brake on and try engaging clutch (pedal release), it should stall.
And last you could also try 35-40 mph in 5th gear. If your revs increase but your speed doesn't, it is most likely the clutch.

This is of course once you figure out how to get your car moving haha

good luck!

I can't shift without pushing the clutch pedal( like normal) but when you use the clutch and put it in gear say first, the car does nothing. It goes into gear fine so I don't think it's the actual transmission, but I've never just had a clutch let go on me. Its weird cause its like there is not enough clutch to move the car and grab but there is to shift into all the gears while it's running just fine, and like I said you do get a grinding noise when you don't use the clutch just as you would if you missed a shift or something, but it's not as loud as it should be. I can let the clutch pedal out in any gear and the car won't stall

Sounds like a linkage somewhere has come loose. just my 2 cents.

Have you looked under the car? You may a failed guibo (rubber joint at the transmission output to the driveshaft. You'll need to jack up the car to inspect it. If you are not up to the task, maybe a fellow Bimmer owner can help you inspect for it.

try this in a safe environment without people around:

Push clutch in fully while in first gear and start car. Does car jerk/lurch forward? If so, master cylinder an or slave cylinder. Any fluid IN the car or under the car??

If nothing, then I think there may a problem with your clutch and/or pressure plate. take a video?
