Opinions on Plasti-dip rims?
Hey guys,
So i recently plastidipped my style 79s. I had planned on keeping them this way until i could afford a nice set of rims. I'm on the fence on whether I should keep them black or just take the plasti dip off. Help and opinions would be greatly appreciated! Here's two photos of what it looks like on my 330ci:http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/...ps702219a5.jpghttp://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/...psd5331fa3.jpg |
not bad... thinking of doing my 179's

If you like the look you should try it. It's cheap, easy, and reversible. It holds up great too.

Doesn't look bad at all the wheels came out good I just think on your color car lighter wheels would look a lot better vs black wheels.. If you kept them silver or did gunmetal or even hyper black wheels it would look wayyy better

+1 for lighter colored wheels.
Doesn't look bad though! |
Doesn't look too bad especially with the black top on your car, at the start of summer I am going to plasti-dip my wheels black. If they have a red plasti-dip spray by then I may do red for a couple days just for something different but am going to do black for the majority of the summer.
How many coats did you do? How many cans did you use? How long did it take you? |
