Exhaust Help on M3.!!!!!!.

I am looking for a Exhaust for Me E46 M3 not looking to spend a lot but want it to sound good. Super sprint sounds great but is a little hi in price. I was also looking at the rogue engineering X pipe with the Evc but Dont know if that makes it sound any lowder then the stock. Just need a little tips thanks.

besides SS and Scorza, all the other ones are either too loud and/or add cabin drone. unless you want everyone in the neighborhood to know - you pretty much have to keep it to SS though its pricey.

The rogue EVC one sounds really good when you open it up. I wouldn't mind that but with an ar20 in section one. Have you looked into the Rogue El Diablo? It's not very loud normal driving and sounds really good when you get on it. Don't forget a rasp terminator or an ar20 in section to kill the e46 m3 rasp.

rogue makes the best tone for the money. SS has mad rasp esp with full step header back/no cat.
i agree with illest - el diablo

AA has a good tone too

I have this http://www.mxp-performance.com/?page_id=137. Keeps it stock sounding but just more aggressive.

I have the AR20 with Rogue X-Pipe EVC. It sounds great in-car once you get above 5500 RPM. Before that, it sounds like crap. I typically keep the dump closed. I will be getting a muffler soon; just shopping around.

Buy used if you can. Put a notice in the classified section of the type of exhaust you are looking for. It may take some time, but someone is bound to sell what you are looking for.

Personally, I like my B&B (which I bought used). It is louder than stock...but I like it.:)

Any drone on the B&B ?

I don't think so. More of a rumble to me. I should note all other sections of the exhaust are stock.

I have the AA exhaust and absolutely love the sound and tone. Definitely worth the money.

Ive heard other exhausts like SS and Borla and absolutely hate them.

I vouch for Scorza any day..

I'd vote for scorza too. But the price tags hurts my heart :(

check out that massive thread on m3form going on right now, apparently a guy has 4 brand new scorzas for 1k..

illestminimike 01-09-2013 11:11 AM

What's wrong with topspeed? Cheap and paired with an ar20 they sound pretty damn good.

Snik 01-09-2013 11:51 AM

Mine isn't even a real topspeed. It's a replica of the replica. This I recently learned.

Saw that scorza thread. After the jokes in page 1 I stopped paying attention to it.

We're they verified to be real?

illestminimike 01-09-2013 01:51 PM

Any replica exhaust on eBay will sound pretty good. They are just really fvcking loud.

Hi-LowBlow 01-09-2013 03:33 PM

I like my Borla
