Gore also pleaded with Americans to take responsibility for greenhouse gasses while establishing the Chicago Carbon Exchange, which would essentially act as the NYSE if carbon credits had come to fruition. The guy is just a businessman taking advantage of his political powers and playing at the heartstrings of dumb americans to support legislation that will line his pockets,.

Gore is a great example of good intentions but terrible delivery. He's too over the top for me.

Maybe it's hypocritical because when current was approached by mercury as a buyer, they were told that gore wanted the legacy of his network to align with his own values. Apparently his values align with a government whose primary source of funds is oil and natural gas. Not to mention he sold it to a network that bin laden used anytime he needed to get a message out.
