E46 M3 Squared Setup
1 Attachment(s)
I've got a pretty damn low E46 M3 sitting on Bilstein PSS9 coilovers and recently picked up an extra set of wheels for basically free. So now I've got a total of four rear wheels, which gave me an idea...
I know you may need specifics, but as an educated guess - Would I be able to run two rear OEM M3 18s up front with a 255 or 265 tire without fender modification? Here's a picture for reference.. UPDATED QUESTION: I plan on ordering some 18" VMRs or Apex ARC-8s in the next few months and wondering as a rough estimate - What width and most importantly offset should I be ordering/running with my setup above? I would like it to be as aggressive as possible without any fender modification whatsoever. Thanks! |
Update: It slightly rubs on the plastic inner fender lining when the wheel is fully turned either way.
Would this pose a problem or will it work itself out by shaving away the necessary plastic? Or will that damage the tire? Thanks in advance |
I would proactively shave the plastic off using a dremel or other tool rather than let the tire do it. The friction of letting the tire do it may cause excess heat buildup.
