Cellucor C4..creatine nitrates..thoughts

I've been getting some pretty good results from my workout plan and was told about this C4 Cellucor pre workout supplement. I tried it, and I had a few amazing workouts with it. I've read that the issue of taking supplements like this is that it leads to an increased metabolism, and you also have to be sure to increase your water intake as well. I think I've been doing a pretty good job, but I've had some intense headaches as of late the following day..not sure if it's work related or not, but the frequency of headaches did increase after trying this stuff..Anyone with some more knowledge on this matter? I mean I really like the stuff, use it a couple times a week..But if headaches persist..I guess I'd refrain from using it too often. I'm not on any sort of medication, nitrates etc..has anyone been into this stuff? How often do you guys use it? Anything to worry about for a relatively, healthy individual? I guess moderation is key, and don't use it every single workout right?

People have reactions to all different ingredients that are in pre workouts.

My guess is the caffeine...known to give headaches, stomach aches and the squirts.

Generally it's a good idea to use about 8 or so weeks and take a week off on all pre workouts. No reason to be worried taking c4 for a healthy Individual.

I've used C4 before, I don't remember any bad side affects. Worked pretty good for me!

But I agree, if you are getting some headaches and whatnot, I'd guess it's the caffeine.

I think that could be it, I'll take a little bit less next time. I also HATE the tingly feeling now lol..never going to take it on an empty stomach again.

The tingly feeling is the beta alanine...I personally love it.

I miss that feeling but stopped all preworkout drinks. I just have some green tea before leaving the office.

Why'd you stop?

I take superpump max on days when I am tired, like last night... worked 12 hours so had a scoop and did a back workout. I find it really does give me that extra boost.

I try and not take it often enough to develop a resistance

wasnt sure if it didnt anything and didn't want to add more chemicals into my body. That's what saturday binge drinking is for.

Do you guys generally take these pre-workout mixes because you feel fatigued? I've tried SuperPump and a few other supplements, but I didn't notice any difference. Maybe it's because caffeine doesn't affect me!!?? :dunno:

C4 is garbage and does nothing to promote growth.

When I'm lifting I like it, but during my warm up run I absolutely hate it, especially when I get a good sweat going...literally makes me scratch.

Haha. There is no pre workout that promotes "growth"

Anyway. I only use c4. It's more of a focus type of pre workout, which is why I like it. Not so jittery

It helps. Super pump is like the Hi Point of guns...there are other pre workouts that will help your body and Increase numbers, but you'll probably have to make your own.
I make my own of
beta alanine
Citrulline malate
Taurine
Tyrosine
Bcca's
Caffeine
3 orange triad vitamins
Better than everything out there...pissed they made 1,3 DMMA banned and hard to find. That stuff rocked :(
Gives my body a mix of supportive and performance boosts that will hell me if I'm feeling sluggish. Also will help you pump that extra few reps when you are stuck! (CM also gives a nice pump ;) )

Just finished a 60 serving tub of C4 over a span of 2+ months. I absolutely love the stuff. It taste great and delivers amazing workouts. However, I like to switch things up and today my 100 serving tub of White Flood has arrived. Can't wait to give it a try.
