Drove without oil cap. Now getting SES codes
Silly me! Did the OFHG today. Forgot to put the oil cap back on after adding some oil. Drove about 2-4 miles to a store. Noticed the engine was having few hiccups along the way, and idling was a little abnormal. So after putting the oil cap back on, the car ran like normal. But after about 15-20 mins of driving, SES light came on and gave the following codes....

P0174 (System too lean Bank 1)

P0171 (System too lean Bank 2)
Misfiring cyl 1,2,3,5,6

I assumed the P0174 and the pending codes are a result of driving without the oil cap. I dont think I did any harm to the engine and clearing the codes should be fine. I just want to get a second opinion. Any thoughts?

Our engines go hundreds of thousands of miles...it won't care that you drove without the oil cap for a couple of miles. Clear the codes and I'm sure you'll be fine too.

If not, can I buy your amp for cheap?

You should be fine now.
Clear the codes, good to go.

Yes that's probably all it was.

You were undoubtedly pulling some unmetered air through the CCV system causing the car to run lean. As said, clear the codes and you should be good to go.
