So....

Most people probably have not received their first paycheck until today or later in the month.

I guess someone posted a pre-paycheck thread.
You'll see on the 31st.

A 2% temporary tax cut expiring doesn't exactly equate to a tax increase in my mind, lol.

Weekly and bi-weekly people have already been paid. You've created a duplicate thread on the same topic. This thread adds nothing new of value that has not already been discussed.

What he said ^

BB BMW, you're being disingenuous to yourself in blaming the POTUS for this. There are other, real things you can blame him for... but this is not one of them.

The value at this point is providing you with an education. It values not only yourself but the rest of humanity.

Welcome to the 5%.

Welcome to the stupid right-wing commentary. Obama didn't raise any tax on the 95%, an old tax cut expired. The timing of the expiry is poor, but it's not a tax increase. Just be thankful you got to enjoy a few $1000s extra over the last few years.

NOVAbimmer 01-16-2013 09:23 PM

it was the highest paycheck I've received since coming home from the 'stan. I was very happy with it.

Lair 01-16-2013 10:28 PM

Obama gave you a temporary tax cut, and you have the balls to call it a tax increase because it expired when he said it would?

Know how I know you're a republican?

BB BMW 01-17-2013 02:28 PM

So if a temp. tax cut expires, taxes DO NOT GO UP?

Do you guys even read what you type? :banghead:

Just wait on Obamacare.

Remember it's a tax according to the USSC.
(and it's MANDATORY for every US citizen)

"A TAX"

"ON EVERYONE"

We in Massachusetts suffered from Romney Care first...
That is what we know it by, others will suffer from his influence in congress.
Now known as "Obamacare"

Liked it just fine. It didn't bounce. Was expecting it be less than this time last year, because of the expiration. Not surprised.
