Yes, compare the numbers with the FBI/CDC stats duh
Here, from a source even you can't brush aside
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25463844...-are-suicides/
Quote:
Suicides accounted for 55 percent of the nation's nearly 31,000 firearm deaths in 2005, the most recent year for which statistics are available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Mind you, the "study" you are so upset about with the NRA specifically included suicide deaths if you read the article.
edit: Actually not sure where the numbers come from in Casino's link. They don't even put the year or anything so I can't cross-reference. Please apply this post to your "study" scenario where I am 100% positive (by their own admission) that they are counting suicides.
Two-thirds of all gun-related deaths in the United States are suicides. Of the 30,470 firearm-related deaths in the United States in 2010, 19,392 (63.6%) were suicide deaths, and 11,078 (36.4%) homicide deaths.[7]
People with agendas use the bigger number, which is stupid because the number is still big if you take out the suicides...but now you've discredited yourself
