Too lazy to care. I find it funny that Piers has been rustling a lot of jimmies.

Where's that guy from Canada who bashes the U.S. when you need him?

Jeremy Clarkson doesn't even like the man...

I've already experienced and emotional reaction, logic and facts no longer matter.

Nice site! The picture above plays around very selectively with different scales... and gets several of them wrong.

An individual can multiple drug charges at one time and be a repeat offender within a year.

Didn't check the link yet but population size would have an effect here.

Because the US has 668 times more people than the UK.

Well initially I did not know what those numbers were based out of. Relax

I'm seeing several sources stating that the number of murders in Britain per year is higher than 14.

At any rate Britain has far more crime in the general population than the US.

Britain: 10.4%
US: 3.8%

Stats do not differentiate suicide death and actual violent crime death, classic ruse.

Almost all sources do not, it helps the cause. The ones that do, actually state that they do. I already addressed this when you ranted against the NRA for stifling biased "research", nice no sell on it.

So you have proof that these numbers include suicides?

Yes, compare the numbers with the FBI/CDC stats duh

Here, from a source even you can't brush aside

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25463844...-are-suicides/

Quote:

Suicides accounted for 55 percent of the nation's nearly 31,000 firearm deaths in 2005, the most recent year for which statistics are available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Mind you, the "study" you are so upset about with the NRA specifically included suicide deaths if you read the article.

edit: Actually not sure where the numbers come from in Casino's link. They don't even put the year or anything so I can't cross-reference. Please apply this post to your "study" scenario where I am 100% positive (by their own admission) that they are counting suicides.

Two-thirds of all gun-related deaths in the United States are suicides. Of the 30,470 firearm-related deaths in the United States in 2010, 19,392 (63.6%) were suicide deaths, and 11,078 (36.4%) homicide deaths.[7]

People with agendas use the bigger number, which is stupid because the number is still big if you take out the suicides...but now you've discredited yourself
