Sorry, ziptie, you didn't quite get it right.
As Solidjake shows in his video.....in this thread....you have to LET GO of the button after you see RESET, then push it in again and hold it until the word reset FLASHES........then push it in a THIRD time.......and THEN it is reset.

Just watch Solidjake's YouTube; it's excellent and simple.
