Drivers Side Zenon Light Flickering

Hi:

Tonight while driving home my Zenon drivers light was going in and out on my 04 330XI. The indicator on the dash came on but I could get it to go on by playing with my light switch. Is it busted? I heard these are very expensive to replace? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I am trying to remember what I bought, I believe they were made by Philips. I got them off ebay of all places for less than $100. I think they were 60 something lol. Replace them in pairs. I searched this site to figure out what I needed. Oh and it's xenon. Try searching I'm sure the model number is here. Hope this helps at least a little.

Just remembered that stock is 4300K which is what I replaced mine with.

It means they are not getting enough power. I replaced the ballast with a pair of 55w canbus ballast from ebay about 6mon ago and it has done the trick.

This could be it also. I kind of remember mine acting like how the op mentioned and I just replaced the bulbs. It's been a couple of years and my memory sucks. :hmm:

They come with bulbs too. I got 6000k and they look good

Bmw and Mercedes always have this computer. The canbus ballast tricks the car computer and you won't have this issue anymore. They are a lil expensive. About $125 but they are harmless to the car, like I said I had mine for a little more than 6mon and I haven't had any issue with them. Do some research before you buy anything though.

Xenon Lights

Hi Group:

Turns out it was the bulb. Not easy putting it in but it now works just as usual.
