BSW Subwoofer not working after install

I've recently switched cars (SMG to 6MT) and was putting off installing the Bavarian Soundwerks subwoofer that I had in my last car for a while.

When I finally got around to it last week, I hooked everything up correctly and no sound. None at all. I'm not sure what the correct troubleshooting order is if I'm not getting any sound. I bought a Digital Multimeter and want to try to diagnose where my problem is this weekend.

Any ideas or tips on what to look for? I'm hoping I just botched a connection somewhere, and that it's not the subwoofer itself that's shot!

Just thought I'd update this after figuring it out. It was a bad ground. I used the same screw location as on my last M3, but for some reason it wasn't grounding this time. Just needed to move it to a new ground location and now everything works!

Bad ground will almost always cause issues. I have a chumpcar and our car was having trouble starting and running awful. Bad ECU ground. Very rare that just switching equipment over would cause it to fail. If you need anything else please let me know!
