Be careful with Blazer aluminum rounds...might lose a finger.
Yes, I know they are cheap....but with ammo availability today, tried them out. Ended up having one blow up in the chamber and a nice powder burn. The case just burst.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps1c5c67ea.jpg There was no squib round, the weapon was clean. Just glad I walked away with all my fingers. Anyone else have this happen? I understand it can happen with reloads but this was granted....cheap ammo...new.:yikes: |
Wow. Good thing you didn't get hurt! Oddly enough, these are the rounds I have been after for a few weeks but local availability is nil. I've shot about 800 rounds of the cheapo blazer without any incidents, but I think I'll stick to brass from now on.

had one bust in one of my submachine guns not to long ago. Kept chugging along, oddly enough it never jammed. Had to shake some chunks out of the action though.

Glad you're ok. KB's can happen with any factory ammo. Blazer is typically ok, I've had the most ammo flaws come from WWB.
You should call blazer and see if they can do anything for you |

I always shoot Blazer Aluminum. Never had any issues
|
Blazer contacted me today. I did not have the lot number from the empty boxes I threw away at the range....so doubt they do anything for me. Might be good for people till it blows up on you....makes you wonder then after you clean your shorts.

Guns do kill people! Ban them..
Glad you're alright. ;) |
Wow glad your ok. I have 4 boxes of those blazers but ive shot thousands of rounds with no problem.
