BMW upgrade fitment
I have a bmw 328i year 2000.
I was just wondering if headlights and taillights from a 2001+ model will fit?

No. You have a prefacelift model.

Okay, how would I make them fit? Would I need to replace the hood?

330iPilot 02-07-2013 07:10 AM

Geez, I'm not sure. I would think that there would be a number of components you would have to replace. Someone else with more knowledge than me would have to answer that.

Ahh okay, hopefully someone can help me with this soon. Thanks for your help!

What you're looking to do is give your car a facelift, you would need to change a number of parts, basically the front clip. That's the two quarter panels, hood, grilles, and headlights.

2001 sedan lights will still fit your sedan

Taillights from a facelift sedan will physically fit. You have to run some wires and get a new LCM if you want them to work though.
