Caster and Powerflex Bushings

I recently had my car aligned at BMW after getting new tires and replacing my fcabs with powerflex bushings. The XI powerflex bushings are offset. BMW told me that my car's caster would not be able to be within spec because of the offset bushings. They also said that because of the ofset bushings and out of spec caster, it is pulling slightly right. Admittedly, I am not an expert in alignment, but can't for the life of me figure out how off center bushings would casue the caster to be out of spec.

Any ideas?

Offset control arm bushing increase camber with no alignment adjustments.
So yes, it's entirely possible that they're unable to get it into spec with offset bushings

It's common practice on e30s to put m3 fcabs on (which are offset) to increase camber. Which IMO is stupid for a street car because it ruins tires.

Original xi fcabs ARE offset. You either put them in with the offset incorrectly positioned, or they are morons and you should get your money back for the alignment and find a new shop.
