Shorted On Post Count

I've never really paid attention but now that I've noticed it, I find it very strange. According to my sidebar info, I have only 280 posts :hmm: Now this can't be right. I decided to experiment today and have been credited for 1 post even though I've posted multiple times. Any one else have this "issue". Not that I really care but some guys thrive on post count as a form of forum rep :smokin: Can't say that I blame them. Depending on what your looking into, someone with 11 posts doesn't seem as solid as someone with 111 posts or 1,111 posts.

I haven't noticed any issues regarding this....

That's not a maybe, that's a fact.

OT and classifieds don't add to your post count.

Wait a sec - after posting this thread, I went to 281. Now I'm back to 280 - I must be going crazy :excited:

Probably in the site feedback section post counts don't go up. It probably went down one being moved from general to here.

Makes sense after reading what the logic is for keeping count. Must be the same formula used for FICO scores. Like I said, not a big deal.
