Do Meyle HD Tie Rods Exist?

So Im going to change out my tie rod assemblies before I go get an alignment. Im looking online at various vendors sites and I cant seem to find a Meyle HD tie rod assembly. I looked on the Meyle HD website and they make a HD tie rod assembly for the E90 but nothing for E46. Im happy with the HD control arms and bushings so I wanted to run them on the tie rods as well. Seems like Meyle only makes a standard tie rod assembly and not an HD one. Am I correct? FCP and Turner both sell Meyle tie rod assemblies but make no mention of them being HD.

They last a good long time so the tie rods don't need to be HD. Whereas the OE LCA's and bushings wear out quickly so HD ones were introduced.

Mine have 186k on them figured changing them isn't a bad idea before the next alignment.

I did see on Meyle's catalog that their tierods for the E46 have slightly larger balljoints. i'll see what i can find

I looked, they're Meyle but not called HD. IIRC,the OEM Lemforders are either the same price of a few bucks more. I'd just go OEM

I called FCP, only people open pacific time after work, and the guy said he wasn't sure, then he looked and said they were but not too confidently. On some sites the lemforders are actually cheaper too. Figured I'd try to upgrade.

I read on meyle site that the ball joint on the tie rod of the e90 is 30mm instead if 28mm, but no mention of the e46

Non OEM is not necessarily an upgrade. It can be, you just have to be careful and do your research first.

Did we get a solution on this? I am doing suspension refresh and looking at meyle tie rod ends also

either should be fine. they're about the same price. i'd just do OE in that case but both look great. flip a coin

Can the meyle do the easy ball joint replacement?
