ECS- Customer Service is Terrible
I've purchased many parts from ECS over the years, $600 this month alone. Shipments have always been prompt and complete. However, I've never needed to contact their customer service department, until now and this experience has been an eye opener.
I had to return a pulley due to my error. They were nice enough to send me their return policy and instructions. I promptly shipped the pulley back to them and it was delivered to their facility last Monday. Meanwhile I was chasing a coolant leak that I thought was my radiator (which I purchased a new Behr from them) it turns out to be my expansion tank, so I ordered a new one to be shipped with my exchanged pulley.
Tuesday evening I checked the status of my order, it was not shipped, so I called customer service to request expedited processing, as my leak has worsened, I was put on hold for a while and then directed to leave a voicemail. I did, no reply. Wednesday evening I called, same thing, held for a while then straight to voicemail. So I called the # for ordering, and believe it or not, I immediately spoke with a sales rep. He checked the order, confirmed the exchange part had arrived and assured me my order would be shipped Thurs. Checked my order status this morning, hadn't been shipped, sent a detailed email, no reply and my order still hasn't been shipped. Planned to install my new radiator and expansion tank this extended weekend ... guess that's no longer an option.
