Is your car stock or modded???
Some people buy their cars and choose to keep them stock, some dump their life savings into the cars. So lets see what fanatics did.
-post whether your stock or modded.
-post why you went stock or why you went modded
-if modded post the mods
....feel free to include pictures, i'll start...

Central Light Switch:
- DRL Dissabled
- Super high beams enabled (You can have the halogens, bi-xenons and fog lights on all at the same time. Obviousy this is not for around town, but it's very nice in the middle of nowhere in a forest, makes your headlights twice as bright)
Rearview mirror module:
- Tilt mirror memory programmed (so you can adjust the mirror after it tilts down for reverse)
- Cluster offset Adjusted to 4% (The instrument cluster reads high by about 7-8%, this can be adjusted, so it's closer to actual speed)
Airbag Control Module:
- Beeping dissabled

Modded, RCR tails and clear corners and a DIY clutch stop to boot! It's totally legit.

Bought my 330 completely stock and very clean. Did lots of little improvements but sold it before I went full retard on it.
Bought an very heavily modded M3. Went full retard on the mods for a daily drivable track car. 90/105 rate springs, solid bushings, recaros, PFC06 pads. Full interior and no cage though.
The more time I spend on this forum, the more I appreciate a clean, stock/mostly stock E46. It's baffling how quickly these cars are ruined with cheap, tacky, after-market modifications available for these cars.
I retrofitted LED tails, and threw on a ZHP knob and aluminum wrap for the interior trim. But that's about it. The car is so good stock, I see no point in emptying out my wallet for the sake of making it different. I may get some wheels. But that'll be it.
As for my car:
Mods: subtle. People have commented on how my car appears stock but there's just something different about it (in real life) so they know it's me. I like it that way!
Suspension: bilstein sports/H&R sports
15mm rear spacers, 12.5mm front spacers (ecstuning) extremely nice spacers. they never stick or jam but fit ultra precisely.
performance: 3.38 differential from the automatic e46, custom dyno tune
headlights: zkw-r lenses, coded quad highs + fogs, custom "fabricated" projector hid fogs
tail lights: led (aftermarket of course) but want to go OE RCR soon.
side markers: generic clears (want to go OE soon)
steering wheel M3, shift knob zhp
other than that, all maintenance:shhh:
^Thank you, and I never noticed that before!
I'm surprised, I thought your car would be all stock aside from the suspension and turn signals! lol
As far as mods.. i want to do a convertible rear sway bar and OE M3 strut brace.. but i need to change my strut mounts first cause the Meyle mounts have bolts that are too short. so that will wait too.
I want to get spacers and an SSK eventually, but lately I've been spending more money on Camera gear :)
From the wheels to the interior to the engine bay, completely stock. Other than the Bilstein Touring suspension I've kept everything down to the way it was when it left the factory. I bought the car because I loved everything about it (other than the total lack of maintenance) so I figured I'd keep it that way.
believe it or not though i have most fun shooting with my phone
I have kept it pretty modest and focused largely on maintenance, but my car handles better than most slammed e46s you'll see on coil overs:
Bilstein/Eibach B12 Pro Plus Suspension System (Eibach Pro Kit springs, Bilstein sport dampers, Eibach anti-roll kit), with reinforcement front & rear.
Dice Bluetooth Mediabridge
Genuine BMW Auxiliary Input
Hardwired Valentine One
Aftermarket RCR tail lamps & turn signals, Genuine clear side indicators, LED license plate lights and matte black kidney grilles.
M3 Steering Wheel
I'm also running these in my M-Tech I front bumper, color matched of course.
In the future I'd like to pick up a set of spacers and the grocery bag holder for the trunk. Otherwise she's perfect
Almost totally stock currently, I have winter rims and tires on it currently, the stock rims are my summer rims, a DICE kit, and Koni STR.T shocks, but only because I killed the OEM ones at my first trackday. I do intend on making some mods, but nothing to the body outside of maybe clear turn signals up front, and I'm not totally sure on that. I intend on overhauling the entire suspension at some point this year, and there will be aftermarket parts going into that, coilovers, bushings etc. but I don't want a huge drop, in fact if I could get away with no drop I'd be happy, but I do want something adjustable so I can dial it in for track days but still be livable on the street.
H&R sport springs for sport suspension (race springs for non sport)
Koni adjustable yellows
UUC sways rear and front
18" staggered sportline cs.16 wheels. all under 20 pounds
michelin PSS tires 225 front 255 rear
Grom audio iphone adapter and controller
OE alcantara shift boot
ZHP shift knob
LED "smoked" tail lights
clear side markers
clear corners (crap those broke. need to get some new ones)
Hawk hps brake pads
OE mtech2 rear bumper
Installing H&r Sports tomorrow, and I plan on going Bilsteins once my new Zhp struts blow out. Also wanting new lenses for the head lights.
And I have clears all arounds, and Rcr tails.
License plate delete,
Have some ebay headers I'd like to install one of these days.
Besides that pretty much all stock,
I'm focusing on restoring/and Maintenance mostly first.
