Change interior light color

Hey

I was wondering is it possible to change the orange color in my car? I mean the orange in radio and buttons?

Yes but you have to be very very good with soldering. Search the forum for "blue gauge cluster" or something like that to see how it's done.

The gauge is not a problem it's the rest of the car like radio window buttons

Yea, I'm just saying that will give you an idea on how to replace the LEDs when it comes to the ones you want to change.

Not recommended. The reason BMW used that color, and still does, is because their engineers found that wavelength is most visible to the eye at night.

I learn new things everyday, awesome BMW! Is that why Infiniti's run the same type of color?

Most likely yes. Surprised a lot of people didn't know that about the orange.

I believe red is the best color at preserving your night vision. I don't think it has anything to do with visibility. If that were the case, your headlights would be red.
