New Pioneer AVH X3500BHS...Dynavin killer?

Just saw Pioneer's new X3500 model, and it's sharp!

Very nicely built, HD tuner, and it's under $300 on Amazon. You can also adjust the control colors to match "BMW Orange" so it looks more stock :)

Has anyone seen one of these installed in an e46 by chance? I'm wondering how well it blends with the interior._a_

Dynavin is good for the oem look, but it's much pricey 700-800$?!!

This pioneer sure will be better in made and sys. but for fitting in the E46 I don't think.

Does the Parrot require an Internet connection for the GPS to work? That's the downside of most Android-based systems.

It's Double DIN, while the Dynavin is designed to fit an E46 without cutting into the HVAC ductwork.

And if you want navigation, you have to buy the addon nav module that had a higher retail price than the head unit? With nav I think the Dynavin will still wind up costing less.

No, it doesn't require an Internet connection for the GPS.

While it does use android it appears to be extremely stable.

I'm considering this for my 4Runner.
