Better yet, this is why you shouldn't try to race on the streets. There is no skill on the streets.

BimmerIsMyName 06-10-2013 01:56 PM

Sucks to be him. From the get go i was :tsk: the way he was crossing the lines without regard for safety.

VaderDave 06-10-2013 01:57 PM

Dibs on passenger-side door.

DylloS 06-10-2013 02:00 PM

VaderDave 06-10-2013 02:03 PM

I also have to give the driver props for not screaming like a little girl when he went over. I probably would have.

Ah, youthful risk taking. Good thing I'm still alive after making similiar moves years ago though not off a cliff. Hopefully he wises up after this experience and lives a long life.

:yikes: he's lucky those big ass rocks stopped him before the ocean :lmao:

I can understand driving a little aggressive on a road you know, But he obviously didn't know that corner was that huge.

Neither of those guys were ever in control of their cars... from the very start of the video. Yet he looked completely calm and confident. Seriously, what goes through people's minds in this situation (before the crash)? You're all over the road, blowing turns, crossing the line unintentionally... at what point does the brain send some signals about the details of your situation?

Can you describe how one could cross the double yellow with regard for safety?

Also- I assume the person who authored the video didn't have collision insurance so it doesn't matter. If he has full insurance that video is gonna fvck him over.

Geez, reminds me of my spin at Laguna Seca last week. After viewing the footage afterward, I was surprised how calm I was. That's some epic goPro footage, scary stuff.

OrientBlue330 06-10-2013 02:40 PM

I am tracking for the 1st time at the end of the month, but I think I'll be leaving my traction control on now.

mkodama 06-10-2013 02:41 PM

I hate those idiots who drive at or beyond their ability on the street. Are they really that dumb to not think what happens if they make a mistake, or if there is an unexpected bike or car hidden around a turn?

I'm not the one to say he deserved that, but he certainly got what was coming to him for being so damn stupid. Entertaining video though!

Rest in peace, M3.
