Yep...both the teflon rings and O-rings were dry and brittle. When I cut them to take them off, they just broke into pieces. Even the little o-rings on the orange vanos plugs were brittle. The gasket...

I did my vanos seal replacement yesterday (83K miles).....his excellent DIY on the Beisan site made it very easy.....and my car car runs very well now. :clap:

I have a problem with half of the M/F buttons as well.....radio buttons don't work, but cruise control does. So far I have replaced the radio buttons in the steering wheel as well as the slip ring...

I like the F30 335I's the most. But only the four door sedan version, for me the coupe's dimensions are off a bit. Styling is subjective....
