While the mechanics of opening the Vert boot is the same as any others, the length of them are quite different from that of a non-Vert E46, so the addition of short springs alone won't do the job...

Just to inform others, A08/7 on a Convertible (circa 2003 thru 2005) is a much darker silver than the A08 Titan Silver.

I have to replace the Pressure Sensor. Can anyone confirm if the gas type would be the harmful stuff that you are not allowed to release into the atmosphere ?

Well the problem is resolved, but not really the way I wanted to resolve it. I decided to swap over the plugs from cyl 2 & 3 to begin a process of emilination, with plugs followed by the injectors.
