I had the same exact thing except the rattling would go away while even the slightest amount of brake pressure was applied. Relaced my pads and rotors and wha-la....no more rattle! :thumbup:

I was thinking the same thing. It only requires like 7 ft/lbs of torque. If you were using a torque wrench while putting it back on then it in no way should have broke. :hmm:

Good luck Doug! It really wasn't that bad of a job except for figuring a way to get the clamps off the lower intake boot at the throttle body and ICV. Otherwise it went about as expected. Just watch...

I have not had a smoke test done as I don't have the equipment to do it. From my reading its common to have a vaccum leak from the Secondary AIr pump? I'm going to look into that as well.
