As for fitment for the m3 bumper, you'd definately have to do work to the bumper cover to fit it to a sedan. I think I read on the board here that for coupes it's little more than bending the bumper...

The ECU shouldn't turn on your lights when you hit your remote button. There should be a nother power source to activate the relay, such as your interior lights that come on when you hit your unlock...
