Almost looked from the inside like some sort of pressure release valve. The inside of the tranny behind that bolt/plug had a spring on it. I was changing the gasket so got a pretty good look.

Crap, I removed the wrong bolt. The T40 at the rear pass side is what I pulled. Any idea what that bolt is?

I presume the correct drain bolt is the on the driver side, not the one on the rear...
