I don't think these calipers where ever really intended for track use, I have seen (not in person though) where the piston on these calipers have cracked from track use, the dust seals for the piston...

Not at all, what I am saying is that the front brake lines from a 135i work fine for either the fronts on the rears, but you don't necessarily need them any brake line of similar length will work...
