Did you torque the bushings while the wheels of the car were on the ground? They have to be installed with the car on a level surface to avoid premature failure.

Just wanted to update everyone and say that Bekkers made things right.
They sent a new original BMW clear side marker.
I guess the moral of the story is to stick with OEM quality or better.
