I had an x5m and an x5 50i, both got 14-15mpg but you gotta keep your foot out of it. 50i was no slowpoke either. I'd imagine a 50i with a tune will pull x5m numbers. Kinda hard to keep your foot out...

I can only speak for the 18's, but I run them on OE E90 M3 sizes and they fit, one of the rears rubs ever so slightly. I'm lowered on coilovers, stock rear camber arms maxed.

I was partly kidding, but I'd say my cars seen redline daily since new. 100k on it now. No engine problems whatsoever. Regularly shift at 4.5k RPM, not shy with it.
