Do you have the temp control on the center vent turned to the 3 blue dots? It shouldn't have anything to do with airflow but definitely temp.

I hit a big pot hole and destroyed the passenger side front control arm bushing. It was fairly new. Luckily the airbags didn't go off. You might also want to check your bushings.

Yes it's a great engine, mines at 273,000 and still sees high rpms occasionally and still pulls strong. The big disappointment is the GM steptronic transmission.
