Well the issue is addressed by BMW as a software update of the whole car, but here in Australia the BMW group even refuses to acknowledge the SIB and dealers refuse to update an 10year old vehicle...

Eventually for me it was as easy as searching "bmw disa o-ring" on eBay :), the best O-ring are red/organge in color made from Silicone to with stand high temprature.
