Never seen a issue with the durability...

Correct BMW 5W30 is different (correct spec) compared to Castrol 5w30 in stores

'Magnatech' is what castrol labels BMW 5w30 above in USA 'high performance synthetic' but its really only a group...

Depends on mileage, I would suggest that new arms are installed after around 100k with meyle HDs .. You can always put some powerflex on there if you want to upgrade and the metal ball joint upgrade...
