Nice I have a block and then a b30 rotating assembly so I am just going to get the pistons coated and reassemble it with new bearings and arp bolts.

Yeah the skirts add .002 i believe and you are correct just doing the top of the pistons is a large price drop per piston. ill definitely have to do this one i start to build the engine up.

Rob whats the main benefit of the coatings? i just looked up prices and they are 52.50 a piston for the top and skirt coating and $230 for the head which is not that bad.
