Hmm I wonder what projector that is. Doesn't look OEM. Maybe thats why they're no good?

That bulb is definitely a rebased aftermarket bulb. Definitely not OEM D2S.

Thought I'd take the time to update my status. Changed my T-stat last weekend for an OEM Wahler. Temp in the OBC now reads a near constant 96C regardless of highway/city/idle driving conditions.
