I would suggest finding out specifically what he plans to do? let's say fixes any and all vacuum leaks, oil leaks, probably wouldn't know exactly where until diagnosis because that's a case by case...

If I recall correctly mine was vibrating against the exhaust and making an annoying sound. When I was changing my oil I figured I would tighten it or loosen and remove it to get rid of the noise......

there was a small exhaust mount/bracket roughly under the center of the car, middle of exhaust pipes mine had rusted and was rattling, I ended up removing it and that solved my annoying sound....
